FAQ

Why should I join KW instead of another brokerage?

The main reason to join KW is for the training and education you will receive from our brokerage. You will learn how to run a succesful business and network with top agents.

As a brand new agent, what trainings do you have?

There are many weekly/monthly trainings that we offer for all agents. The best "new" agent training is IGNITE. It is directly meant for new agents to learn the ropes and how to Lead Generate. This takes place 4 weeks straight, Mon-Fri, 9am-12pm. It's offered every couple months.

How much are office fees?

Office fees vary at every location. For KWB, we charge $95.00 per month. It's broken down as: $50 for KW Command (CRM), $15 E&O Insurance, $20 for Technology, $10 for Business Development.

Can I work from home?

At the end of the day, you are your own employer. You are able to work from home, however it is advised that new agents come in the office 3-5 days a week to really learn the ropes, meet other agents, and become involved in our culture. Agents that don't show up, usually aren't around in the business for long.

Does KW pay for my licensing course?

KW does not pay for or provide licensing courses. However, there is a deal where new agents who close 2 deals, will get refunded $250.00 per transaction towards the cost of their pre-licensing course!

Does KW give me leads?

KW does not provide leads. KW does teach you how to get your own leads and run your own business though.

Can I work part-time at Keller Williams?

Yes, you can work part-time or dual-career, but you must understand if you want a successful Real Estate business, you can not treat it as a hobby. You have to be more efficient with your time.

Do I have to work by myself?

No, within our Keller Williams Ballantyne office, we do have teams. You are able to join a team who may provide leads, more further training, marketing, etc, but they do come with a lower commission split which is unique to every team.
